The main event of the summer Yyteri Sandstorm is getting closer every day and now it’s time to register for the qualifier.

TEAM
The team must have 2 men and 2 women. The may also nominate 1 man and 1 woman as a substitute member. The team must have a captain who takes care of the registration and acts as a contact person in the direction of the competition organizer. All team members must be named before the finals. The qualification and the final must be completed from start to finish with the same team.
REGISTRATION
Registration opens 1.3.2023 at 9:00 in https://reppi.fi. Teams can register until April 24, 2023 at 21:00. Qualifier has unlimited spots.

Qualifiers
Qualifiers starts on April 6, 2023 at 12:00. Qualifier has three events and they can be completed separately in any order and as many times as the team desire. All three events may contain multiple parts and all events and event parts are scored separately. There is a total of three weeks to complete the sports. The scores must be submitted to Reppi-service before 21:00 on April 24, 2023.
Programming
Programming of the qualifiers is made by CrossFit legend Mikko Salo. Events are similar to CrossFit Open events which means they are accessible for teams at any level but they may contain difficult movements in the later phases of the event.
Standards, scorecards and floorplans
Instructions, scorecards and floorplans can be found in Reppi after the release of the events. Each event has practical instructions, standards and floorplans that help the teams to focus on their performance in the events.
The floorplan tells you the location of the equipment, athletes and the placement of the video recording device. The floor plan must be followed, otherwise the sanctions may be applied. For example, a time penalty can be imposed for incorrect placement of the video recording device. If it is not possible to follow the given floorplan, the issue must be discussed with the competition organizer before the performance in order to avoid sanctions.
Video reviewed
All TOP-20 performances are video reviewed and sanctions may be imposed based on the review process. Entry to the finals requires video recording of all event performances in accordance with the given instructions.
Qualifier spots
The teams ranked 1-11 in the qualifiers earns a spot in the Elite division.
The teams ranked 12-36 in the qualifiers get a place in the finals of the Rx series.
The teams that claimed the final place in the Elite or Rx series will be confirmed on May 7, 2023 at 23:59. The remaining 6 spots in the Rx series will go on sale on May 8, 2023.
Finals
This year, the Yyteri Sandstorm final will take place over two days on Yyteri’s sandy beach and its surroundings. As usual, the competition for the Elite series is two days long and for the Rx series the competition lasts one day. This year, Yyteri’s terrain and surroundings will be utilized even more widely, so there will be an unprecedented adventure and experience for all athletes!
